Experience a new dimension of play with the JOOLA Rossi Emotion PBO-c! While the original JOOLA Rossi Emotion utilizes a Carbon core, the 5+2 ply JOOLA Rossi Emotion PBO-c uses layers of PBO-c fiber directly on either side of the core. This design creates a more dynamic blade with increased feeling. To reduce the added weight of the PBO-c, we replaced the Ayous middle veneers with Kiri, providing a lighter, more balanced blade. The high-quality, soft Hinoki outer veneers also create a softer touch, prolonging ball contact time for more control. With maximum energy transfer from the inside and extraordinary controlled touch from the outside, the JOOLA Rossi Emotion PBO-c blade creates an exciting experience!

PBO-C
PBO is a synthetic polymer used in race cars and aeronautics for its durability and high-elasticity. It is used in PBO-c to complement the hard CARBON, creating a larger sweet spot and a softer stroke feeling.

HINOKI OUTER VENEERS
HINOKI, a highly sought-after premium Japanese wood, is often recognized by its rich, straight grain. This wood is characteristically soft with a bit of bounce and creates a one-of-a-kind touch that increases dwell-time for extra spin and control.

Meet the Blade’s Namesake

After developing the blade classic Rossi Emotion, I was involved in the creation of the latest premium blade, the Rossi Emotion PBO-C. Crucial innovation of this blade is the processing of high-quality PBO fibre interwoven with carbon fibres (PBO-C). In some tests, we have found that this PBO-C compound leads to a softer touch feeling with maximum dynamics. Many JOOLA players are excited about the new technology – Yue Wu (Energon PBO-C) and Lily Zhang (Nobilis PBO-C) have already achieved great success with their blades in the recent past.

Jörg Roßkopf

A former professional German table tennis player, Jörg Roßkopf has been a JOOLA-athlete for over 3 decades. He is currently the head coach of the German Men’s National Table Tennis Team. Roßkopf’s achievements include a Silver medal at the 1992 Barcelona Summer Games (Doubles), a Bronze medal at the 1996 Atlanta Summer Games (Singles), and a Gold medal at the 1998 Table Tennis World Cup. As a coach, he was awarded the ITTF Star Coach award in 2017.
